Canal Trip – Homeowner Review

We recently organised a canal trip, here is a review by a homeowner who attended the trip:

"A group of Owners from Ashby Court had a lovely day spent on the Canal. We were taken towards Market Bosworth. We had a stop at Sutton Cheney Basin, and there had a short walk.

After half an hour taking in the landscape, we stopped for our picnic  which the staff at Ashby Court has made for us. The picnic was made up of 4 different sorts of sandwiches, crisps, cheese straws, pork pie and cheese biscuits followed by lemon cake and fresh strawberries. It was delicious. Soft drinks, tea and coffee with biscuits were provided throughout the journey.

The sun was shining all day. We saw plenty of wildlife along the way, waved and said 'hello' to people on the canal side and boats were continuously passing by as we made our way back to our starting point in Stoke Golding"
